The 2016 BriO de Cantenac Brown is the second wine from Château Cantenac-Brown. Made from younger vines on the estate, which was introduced in 2005. The ratio of Cabernet Sauvignon to Merlot can vary more widely, with some vintages featuring more of the latter.
There is also a little more Cabernet Franc compared to the Grand Vin with a blend of 49% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc.
"The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a beautiful elegance as well as precision. It reveals delicate/slight notes of ripe/fresh blackberry and slight notes of ripe raspberry, flowers associated with slight hints of blueberry as well as slight notes of licorice and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy, well-balanced, juicy and offers a beautiful finesse..." VertdeVin
