This dry Bordeaux Blanc 2016 Alto de Cantenac-Brown, from Château Cantenac-Brown in the Margaux region, features a blend of 90 percent Sauvignon Blanc with 10 percent Semillon.
Made in much smaller quantities, this white has the aroma of exotic citrusy fruit: lime, peach, melon, kumquat, apples; combined with a soupçon of honey, summer flowers and a discreet woody hint in the background. A slight kick of acidity and a well rounded palate with a delicate finish.
The AltO de Cantenac Brown 2016 is a lovely, well balanced crispy dry white for all occasions; especially good with seafood, cheese, salads and brunch.
