From the vineyards of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, the Domaine de Baron'Arques Limoux 2015 is a Merlot based blend of 50% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Grenache, 10% Malbec, 10% Syrah.
A full body wine with aromas of apple, pear, peach, cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Some cocoa powder and well integrated oak with a hint of nutmeg and yeast in the finish. Quite balanced, long finish and evolution in the glass.
James Suckling describes it as "Blackberries and blueberries with dried flowers, such as lavender. It’s full-bodied with tight, chewy tannin's that are polished and pretty. Flavorful finish with lots of spices and herbs at the finish, as well as blackcurrants and walnuts. Drink now."
