The Macallan’s maturing casks were explored to seek out whisky with rare indulgent chocolate notes that would harmoniously pair with fine chocolates for a rich and unique tasting experience.In homage to its chocolate influence.
The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is presented in a 100% recyclable gift box, made using discarded husks from cacao pods.
A by-product in the chocolate-making process, these husks would have been sent to landfill or destroyed but have now been reborn with a renewed purpose.
COLOUR: Toasted cacao beans
AROMA: Chocolate fondant, honey, oak, zesty lime and ginger
PALATE: Dark chocolate, honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon.
FINISH: Long with rich chocolate.
