The 2016 Château D'Arsac comes from a wine producer that is one of the oldest in the region. It has vineyards in both Margaux and the wider Haut-Médoc area, making wines under both denominations.
A classic delicacy with hints of cinnamon and cloves with a delicate perfume of roses and red berries. It has a slightly tannic finish but is also soft and intense.
Roger Voss comments that "It has produced an elegant wine, full of perfumed fruit and with fine, dusty tannins. It should age well, morphing into a stylish wine with richness and longevity."
The 2016 Château D'Arsac needs a little more time to mature so drink after 2024.
