Sally's Hill Pinot Noir 2016 is a fine even wine with herbal aromas and a soft finish. There is an unmistakable Eucalyptus note, woody oak and a hint of the Australian bushland. Ripe cherry aromas. Dark, full and has a wonderful character.
The "Pinot Noir grapes are hand picked from the vineyards surrounding Sally’s Hill including the famous Sally’s Paddock vineyard (North East Victoria - Pyrenees region), these exceptional varietal wines reflect wonderful idiosyncratic characters and flavours of the unique style of Redbank Winery. Made in small batches, hand punched, wild yeast fermented and basket pressed, this wine truly express the potential of single varieties from our un-irrigated vines."
Don't forget to try also the Cabernets. The Sally's Hill Pinot Noir 2016 is well balanced with a silky tannin and is good to drink now.
